The SME Development Council is part of the club and the council consists representatives from University of Colombo, Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM),SLLIT and AAT to reflect and provide feedback on the needs and improvement required for a stronger and more professional small and medium industries, enterprises and businesses, whom represents 80% to 90% of the Sri Lankan economic establishment.
The club established a brand development unit to promote branding to the SME members and assist them in building and developing their own brands.
